Default Mod fever has hit hard, need input

My wife, bless her! She has agreed to let me do what I want with my car,
within the original budget total. After reading, researching mods, I have decided to do the following. Would like reactions, thoughts. MTI 427 setup
with a polished mag. I believe that this would be a good all around package
for anything I would require. Gas mileage would be decent, high performance would be on tap at any time. Is this too extreme, has anyone seen this setup.
Understand, I try to do things once. I dont want to be trading parts for upgrades all the time.

Well MTI's Z07 package is the one for you, but teh $17k price tag is a big issue to most of us.

The Mag may not give worthwhile boost on a 427!
Anyone out there running that combo?

If you are concidering streetablity then the Roots style might be a better course of action. With no lag and instant boost its hard to beat. However, if money is no option and all out performance is the objective then its hard to be an ATI and an MTI stroker.

You might want to Check Out Andy's new FI induction setup w/ a 427... It is pushing some major HP.

I agree... the mag will not put enough boost to that large motor... then again that would be good because if you boost the engine too much, you will break the drivetrain with too much power... :smash:
