My buddy bought the computer to program his chip. I borrowed it to program mine, but the directions say it can only be used on 1 car at a time and he has to reset his back to stock before I can use it. Any way around this? And can this damage the motor? :banghead:

You don't mention what kind of programmer you're using, but here's what I know:
Hypertech - may only be used on one car at a time. Before using on another, the original car must be returned to stock. It is model and year specific.
Predator - Can only be used on one car ever. Once used, it "marries" itself to that VIN and can only be used on that car whether it's returned to stock or not.
Superechips - not familiar with this one.

Nope.. their product, their rules.. and personally, I would have saved a little more for ls1edit.. I'm assuming that you're using a Hypertech?
