Removed the cats and went with O2 simms. And although I didn't dyno I could swear from SOTP that the car feels slower.
I think I may be able to live with the louder sound. And I don't get the "Smell" I was warned about. But the car feels like it has less out of the hole.
Any ideas what this is about?
Has the car not adjusted itself yet? Will it fix itself?
Does the car require more back pressure in order to build torque?
This can be a common issue with removing the cats. It directly affects back pressure. Are you running any type of programing ? You might want to run autotap or ease to monitor the 02 values.

Re: Removed Cats...LOST TORQUE??????? (Red5)
This is a common problem with NA motors. You can compensate with tuning. Now with FI on the other hand, you would gain across the range pretty much right away, even more after tuning. :smash:
