Hey,
I know wt. plays a factor in the 1/4 mile, but what about on a dyno???
If you dyno'd with a full tank vs say 1/4 tank of gas would the results be different???
Any other factors that might affcet dyno numbers?????
only on a mustang Dyno where you input the vehicle's total weight to get a more accurate reading :yesnod: The other way weight can affect a dyno reading is if you are making too much tq and you are spinning the living crap out of your tires :D
Doesnt really matter unless traction is an issue  With a mustang dyno you input the vehicle's curb weight, not sure if that's with full tank or not, but still doesnt matter if you run a full tank or not, but what you input into the dyno (car's weight) :) You also have to know that very few shops use Mustang Dynos as they read lower and everyone wants that big # ;)
The only weight that would matter would be driveline weight, ie wheels and tires (rear anyways) and other rotational weight in the driveline. Other than that it is like Mike said, you may want to add weight or strap it down tighter if you are having traction problems. Good Luck :auto:
