A/C Head control unit any difference in Modellyear ?
I will replace my A/C Head Control Unit soon, but i am not shure if all Modellyears have the same part. So when i buy a used on at Genes Karshop or on ebay which is not for MJ 1997, will it work ?
Can somebody post the No. for the differnt Modellyears ?
Any help would be highly appreciated !

I found in some posts here in the Forum the part no. 16254311 for a 98 or 99. I am wondering if those Unit will work in my 97. On the Page from gmpartsdirect there is only this part no. without the restriction to one or two Modellyears.
Anybody installed this part (16254311) in a 1997 C5 ?

If possible go with a newer control unit. There were some internal changes within the HVAC control unit over the years. The older units had some problems with throwing some false codes and having bad displays. The display would eventually fade down to where you could not see it. I am running the HVAC unit from a '00 C5 Vert in my '98.
