I have a B&M with no complaints. It's a possitive shift, some tightness but a sure short throw shift. Sorry I can't help you with the hurst

They are very similar......that being said, I have heard from more than a few that have problems with the Hurst (do a forum search). I think it has something to do with the adjustment screws (don't hold me to this). I have never heard of a problem with the B&M. I went problem free. Good luck with your decision. :cheers:
