Please Help! Problems with remote FOB
I noticed the remote was not unlocking/locking so I tried to "reset" it and it worked, but 5 minutes later it was not in sync with the car again. I have tried new batteries, another remote, etc and the remote and the car lose sync a few minutes after I reset them. Any ideas? :banghead:

If you have the passive FOB, you may want to give this a shot.
Sometimes after changing the batteries on the FOB, the remote gets stuck in the "passive on" even though the switch is "off". Here's what fixed it for me, slide the passive switch to "on", go near the car to un-lock it, then walk far enough away that it locks. Slide the switch back to "off" and go back to the car, now it should not un-lock, problem gone! Hope this works! :)

I tried what was suggested above, but did not work.....the remote still stops working a few minutes after resetting everything....... :cry :cry
