those mods will not affect your car that way...something else is wrong...make sure everything is hooked up

If it's an auto you are probably reaching the torque management threshhold. It will not only remove timing to get the torque down, but also reduce throttle at the throttle body.
If it's a 6spd it may be pulling timing out a bit.
