I think they meant LS1edit -that is not the same as the dealer. I am not sure the dealer can or will remove skip shift. LS1 Edit is a very expensive specialized software that allow a ton of flexibility with teh car - it is usually specialty shops that have it. Again I am not sure that the dealer can not or will not make this change but I tend to doubt it.

A tuner can with LS-1 Edit, and also change out your fan turn on temps..
many things..I do not think a GM tech can turn off the cags as that was the trade off with the gov.so if a GM tech could turn them off that might defeat ever installing them from the factory..
good tuner..JOhn Rovner...TEAM ZR-1 ..he does not lock you out of your PCM.....which at least one other tuner does...that I know of.

Before I buy the cags eliminator, can a tech program it out of the PCM?
