Steering Wheel Position Sensor
I have a fault code on my 1997 C5 which has been on there since new, it is asking for a new Steering Wheel Position Sensor, does anyone know what it does / how important it is to replace it and if the fitting of a new one if required is a difficult job

Common problem plus you will need a PCM update. It is located at the base of the steering column. Time to visit dealer.

The steering position sensor works in conjuction with the ABS and Active Handling,if equipped...Requires removing the steering column to replace :yesnod:

:iagree: I had mine replaced a couple of years ago. I believe it was over $300.00 back then :sad:
