Ok, my car is getting dyno-tuned next month with LS-1 Edit. 1st question: Can I have them turn off my tire pressure sensors?? I have a 99 hardtop with aftermarket wheels and Im not using the sensors and what to get rid of the message every time I start up the car. Question #2: If I have the stock thermostat can the adjust the fan temps at all??? Ive done a search and read that lowering the temp at which your fans turn on is pointless if you dont have a lower thermostat. Can they just not lower them a lot , or not at all??? Thanks for your help

I have a 99 hardtop also and I removed the tire pressure sensors the last time I changed tires a year ago. I use to use the rest button everytime I started the car to get rid of that annoying display. But for some reason, the computer no longer gives me the tire sensor reminder, it finally shut the thing off itself.

I also have the LS-1 Edit and my fans activate about 192 Deg..my car seldom goes over 197Deg..I wouldn't worry about the temperature. The tuner should take care of that.As for turning off the sensors,I don't know. you will be satisfied with the LS-1 Edit.Worth evey penny it costs. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy

I remember a post about deactivating the sensor and now cannot find it. It had some thing to do with disconnecting the module back by the rear wheels (left I think) until it powered down then reconnecting without relearning. This purportedly turned then off permanently.
