DynoTech Engineering; Old fashion customer service
Last Friday my wife and I drove from Indianapolis to Ft. Wayne, a 2-hour drive, to get the differential swapped in my wife’s Vette because the 4.10s were making noise. DTE completed the swap and we headed home. When we got home I discovered the rear fascia was pretty well lubed up because the diff was leaking oil.
I left a message for Phil who was out. He called me back shortly and said that he knew we were planning to take the car to Bowling Green on Saturday morning so he was sending Jeremy and Tim down to Indy that evening with tools and parts and they would fix it in my garage. They arrived about 8pm and quickly found it was only a pinched o-ring on the rear cover that was causing the oil leak and replaced the o-ring. They left well after 10pm.
The mistake shows they are human but try finding a dealer that will give you that kind of service! DTE obviously has great customer focus. When I was young, I remember my Dad, who was an Independent Insurance Agent, leaving home in the middle of the night during thunder storms because a customer had a window broken by the storm and he would go board it up. Bet the “good hands” people and all the others didn’t do that. Many busineses today have lost their customer focus and could stand to take a lesson from my Dad and from DTE.
Thanks Phil, Jeremy and Tim for taking care of me. I have 700+ miles on the new gears. I haven’t “kicked it” yet but they are still quiet. Thanks to you we were able to take the car and join a caravan of 25 other Vettes from our Circle City Corvette Club for a weekend of volunteer work at the National Corvette Museum. The weather was great and it was a fun ride home Sunday on SR 135 through the twists and curves around Brown County.

 I've only heard good things about DTE. You may have seen my vette in their shop while you were up there. It is the black '03 coupe without a passenger seat. I wonder if Jeremy and Tim are up for a trip to MS if I have a problem with it after delivery.
Re: DynoTech Engineering; Old fashion customer service (DsC5)
There is only one reason I dont like living in Hawaii...it is because I cant take my car to Phil and the gang at DTE. I have had several phone conversations with Phil and he has always made time to answer my many questions. As soon as I can find a capable tuner here in Hawaii I will be purchasing a differential from him. I have yet to hear anything bad about DTE on this site or any other one for that matter. Keep up the good work Phil!

Funny you post this, Phil just told me that story when I was there Sat. getting my 3.73's and SS3600 TC put in. I also saw the 03 black coupe with no passenger seat, I was wondering what was going on with your car. Anyways, Phil, Tim and Jeremy are amazing guys!!!

I've talked to Phil a few times, phone and email, and he is nothing but helpful. Probably THE best vette vendor I have ever dealt with. If only he started selling more stuff, I'd buy everything from him. But maybe that would take away his focus, because he'd be too busy.

Phil's having trouble getting gears. I've got a second set of 4.10s on order that I was hoping to have installed the end of this week in my other car. Phil promised them to me but the vendor that promised them to him is jacking him around.
Everyone is getting gears from DTE, I thought there was a shortage on them and that there was none to be had? Confused...

I had already bought most of my upgrades, but I hadn't decided which tuner to get to install all of it. I had to remove the passenger seat in order to get all of the stuff up there. Here are some pics of my very packed vette.
