It's been a week since I had ECS do a h/c for me. I just got back
from Atco, where I made 6 runs in only 36 minutes. It's hard for me to admit, after drag racing a C3, C4, and C5 over the last 22 years, but in five of the six runs today, I had to take my foot off of the gas pedal!
Each time, I would only launch at 2000rpms, since I was breaking in a new clutch. On the fifth run, I psyched myself up enough to go full throttle all the way through the traps. With only a 2.0 60', and shifting before the light came on, I finished with a 12.1 at 121 mph.
On the way home I noticed one more small detail: the traction
control was never turned off! (I thought my inability to do burn-outs, as
well as the poor 60' was due to the new clutch.)
The bottom line is this: If you're thinking about letting ECS work
on your car, you better have a set of *****... (unlike myself).
wow, that title didnt sound good 4 a sec there! im glad u liked their work. chris is a good guy and so is doug. i hear nothing but great work coming from them all the time. congrats
Chris took me for a ride in your car last week when I was at ECS finishing my LS1 Edit tune. It was your car (red, right?) that convinced me to go H/C with a 4.10 rear this summer w/ my Z06. It idled sooo smooth, yet it kicked butt when punched.
Don't worry, Chris went easy on it, since he told it was a new clutch that still needed some breaking in. Fast, smooth car.

:iagree: They also care about their customers. Doug is a real human being and Chris is a genius. He doesn't think so, but I watched him work and he has that look in his eye. :blueangel:
Awesome! I actually was there the night you were picking it up. (The red Vette parked out front) Chris told me he did a h/c setup on it and that you were on the way!
