Default cags eliminator

This may be a stupid question, but, why would you have to disconnect the negative battery cable to install the cags eliminator? Thanks

No need to, just unplug the CAGS harness on the drivers side of the tranny and plug the defeat unit in inbetween the connectors. (Takes 2 min)

I didn't touch the battery. All work done at the transmission. Be careful you have to car on ramps, etc. before you crawl under it. Jacks fail!

I didn't disconnect the battery either. I had the car up on the lift and it was a piece of cake. If you use a jack and stands, just be careful.....
