G5X3 vs T-REX

Whats the difference? I'm looking for a cam for my 99 frc intake, exhaust, and nitrous setup. I currently have stock heads and plan on staying that way for a while. I have these two cams in mind. Can anyone explain the difference in the two? Are either of these good for running nitrous? Do I have to flycut the pistons with these cams? Thanks.

I would go G5X3 on a 114 to close p/v clearance on T rex. But i may be wrong

I wouldnt go as big as the Trex with 3.42 gears on a daily driver.

Really? Thats what I would have thought, but I have a friend who put the t-rex in his 02 ss camaro. Its nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. It idles good, its totally driveable, he's running stock gears and didn't even get it tuned yet, and it still runs perfect!

How hard is the TREX on you motor? Does anyone have the ordering info on the tool to cut your pistons? Thanks, Kaley

I'd have to see that. I would think it wouldnt drive under 2000rpm.

BTW, my original recommendation was going by what Jason from Thunder himself said.

My cam is also a G5X3/114 (for N20)
