Default Looking for a head and cam package

Ok, it's time to step up the horsepower in my 03 coupe. I love the coupe (mainly the roof!), but I miss the gearing and power of the Z06 I test drove before buying it.

I'm thinking that a decent head/cam package and a 3.90 differential will get me the power and gearing that I'm looking for, so who's got the best bang for the buck these days? I've searched the archives, but there are so many options out there that I'm lost. I'm keeping the stock heads intact, so core charges are also a factor. There are lots of references to the ported LS6 heads that GM sells, but a 250cc intake port scares me. My wife drives this car as much as I do, so I'd like to bump up the rwhp as much as possible without heavily impacting drivability. No choppy idles, poor low end response, surging, or other bad manors. Anybody have a recommendation?

Also, does anybody sell a ready to bolt in 3.90 differential?

You would be looking at a extra $250 for the cores. If there is anything else I can help you with just let me know.

Thanks,

Flareside,

Check out the A & A AFR thread.

They made some awesome #'s with a mild cam.
