B0361 and B0363 are for the left air temperature actuator. The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control module commands the air temperature actuators to move by controlling voltage on the control circuit thus maintaining the selected air temperature.

On the left actuator control actuator, the HVAC has detected the signal circuit is less than 0.09 volts and has set B0361. The HVAC has also detected the signal circuit is greater than 4.9 volts and has set B0363.

A disconnected or broken actuator door may set these codes. The diagnostic table makes use of a scan tool to isolate the problem.

C1281 relates to the Vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) being engaged for 10 seconds with the data velocity indicator always in either understeer or oversteer. The electronic brake control module (EBCM) measures the actual and desired yaw rate (from steering wheel position, vehicle speed, etc) and applies differential braking to the front left and right brakes when the yaw rate difference becomes too large.

The C1281 code is set when VSES does not properly correct the yaw rate.

Under what driving conditions is the code being set?
