I am doing this for a friend, He is looking at a 00 convertable with 33,000 miles. I t has all the bells and whistles. The check engine lite is on also the abs and traction cont. shows need servicing. Oil guage is stuck at max also.This car was a lease return., body in ex, shape new tires could use a good clean-up. eng comp etc. $32,900. The mech is on a temp disability.I believe dealer wants his man to look at it first, anybody got a clue what problems are ailing this puppy ? THANKS (I have a 02 z06) :chevy

First thing you gotta do is pull the codes associated with the SES light on. Post em and the super minds here will help however possible. To pull the codes turn the ignition switch to on but do not start...hold the options button on the DIC and press fuel 4 times, this will scroll through the codes.

Otherwise pull the codes, and get the dealer to give you the name and phone number of the person that leased the car.
