Is this a different problem with dual climate control?
My temp display is fine, but half the buttons aren't lighting up.
The driver side **** and the left half of the buttons light up, but the right half, and passenger know, with the exception of the front defrost button are not lighting up.
I have seen many posts about the diplay going dim, but searched and couldn't find a problem that matched mine.

That is not the same problem. I have seen it mentioned here before. I don't know of a fix but you could pull the unit out and see if there are bulbs to replace or rewire with LED's.

If you open the unit up you will find the bulbs are hard soldered to the circuit board, it is possible that you have a break in a trace on the board that you could jump or may simply have a few bad bulbs. If you are handy with a soldering iron they are not hard to replace... I replaced ALL mine with colored LED's.. I like the look much better

Since My Vette is Navy Blue I did mine in Blue LED's... You might want to look at the write up I did at http://www.vettechat.com/led/led.htm This is on doing the door switches but the same resistors and Led's apply to the dual climate control. The trick is to solder the resistor "inline" with one of the legs of the led, and using shrinkable tubing to prevent the 2 legs from touching. Simply remove the light bulb from the board and solder the led in it's place. Make sure you test one to verify the polarity of the led before you solder them all in place. I'll try to post a few pics and write-up on doing the climate control assembly. Remember you do this at your own risk, damaging the board will cost you a replacement dual climate control module..... :D
