A&A Auto. Call Andy and in 10 minutes you'll realize why. The best kits for DIY installation andcustomer service anytime you need him. If you are in California I'd let him install it for you.

Check out the forced induction section for great info on all types of units from ATI, Vortech, Magnuson and twin turbo options. The only limit is your wallet(wife)

:yesnod: :iagree: Call A&A Andy for the best produced and priced supercharger kit.

The magnachargers are nice, but it gets pricey to intercool + say good bye to the stock hood.

Do a search in the Forced Induction section and you'll find all sorts of good info.

I've never regreted dealing only with LPE. Everything Lingenfelter has sold me has been first class, and the one time I was not satisfied they took the parts back and credited my account, no questions asked. I know i pay a slight bit more than if I shopped around for the lowest possoible price -- for example I recently bought the "Tigershark"front end kit through them even though I knew the price was a bit less from Tekcor or whoeverdirectly, but I trusted LPE -- plus, they deserve to make some $$$ for all the good, free advice they give me without any obligation.

The important point" I've never regretted taking their advice. I always work with Ed Potter and he has given me good advice whether I am buying or not. I'm having a local speed shoip and engine builder do a 427 C5r block engine for me (instead of buying a 427 from LPTE) and Ed has given me a lot of pointers, even though he isn't gettting the business. But he's sold me a Magnusen SC, headers, Fikse wheels and a mini tub kit (the best I've ever seen)and scads of small upgrades for my C5 and my '98 Camaro drag car and I never once regretted doing business.

The advice is solid. Go with it.

I really am not an ad for LPE, but I am a VERY satisfied customer. For the past two years, I get good advice, good products, and good service. I'd recommend just calling Lingenfelter, asking for Ed (or Jeff, who seems equally savvy) and asking what is best for what you want. They truly seem committed to doing what is best for you.

Definitely talk to Andy  at AandACorvette.Com ! He has developed customized improved drive and installation kits for most of the popular blowers resulting in greater RWHP and reliability from a given blower.
Good luck,
Roy

Definitely check out the "C5 Forced Induction/Nitrous" section of the forum. There's tons of info and opinions there, and you'll see the many brands mentioned by drcoffee above.

In supercharging the C5, there's two types of blowers: (1) centrifugal (ATI, Vortec) and (2) roots (Magnacharger). Each has pros and cons.

If you go with (1), then as stated above, Andy at A&A Corvettes has won a ton of praise (http://www.aandacorvette.com/).

If you go with (2), then I'd recommend either Lingenfelter (http://www.lingenfelter.com/home.asp ) or its Texas affiliate, 21st Century Muscle Cars (http://www.21stcenturymusclecars.com/)

Depending on your geography, you'll also see a few other forced induction tuners, especially if you're near the northeast (e.g., ECS)

Good luck. Boost is addictive. :reddevil
