Default code question

I was driving along this afternoon and all of a sudden my gas gauge dropped to empty and the check gauges light came on and the low fuel warning came on. I have had some of the typical fuel gauge problems in the past, but it has never all of a sudden dropped to empty and the check gauges light has never come on before. here are the codes. can someone enlighten me as to if there is a problem?
I don't drive the car much, only about 3000 miles per year.

Chevy knows there is a problem with fuel gauges. Your dealer can update the PCM calibration on some C5's to correct the issue you are complaining about. Some of the repairs require a new fuel sender in the left tank, there are also some fuel transfer and jet pump issues, your dealer should have the tsb's and PI's available as this is a common problem.

are all of those codes related to the fuel gauge problem?

no,just the P code. the U codes are comunication related but those are standard equipment on most C5's, nothing to worry about.

I've had every single one of those codes. The LDCM and RDCM are Left and Right Door Control Module. Your codes have to do with loss of communication but it's pretty common for C5's to have these. I've been told its a programming glitch. Once your in manual diagnostics hit and hold reset. It will clear the codes. The 1431 code is the right tank sending unit malfunction. I have this one also. My gass guage goes haywire between a little less than 3/4 tank and 1/4 tank. This one's pretty common too.

Rich.

thanks guys. I've had the fuel gauge problem in the past but not in the last several fill ups. I just wanted to check with everyone here to make sure the codes aren't something that would strand me somewhere on the side of the road. that would be embarransing with a corvette broke down
