12.90 1/4 w/a4
first time at the track since installing slp lt headers and hiflo cats. with zo6 tires heated up ,still spun them for the first 30' and again in 2nd . 1.94 60' 12.95 1/4, 107.5 mph. update: ran 12.90 , 108.75 mph 2.03 - 60ft on friday april 23. that's about the best the car can do w/out et streets. now its off to a&a corvettes (2500 mile round trip) for ss3200 yank , 3.42 gears ,hardened output shaft , lsi tune and a set of 17'' et street radials.then i'll run it again to check out the times before i install this nx150 nitrous kit that just came by ups.

If you have a problem it is a long ways to go to have them fix it. I have a freind that as we speak is flat beding (at his expence) 800 miles round trip for a tuner repair.

Purple Jim; FYI yesterday we hit 73 Degrees on the Coast I'll bet it was close to 80 in Mission.
It's OK to live in Michigan if you like Hot humid summers and freeze your butt off winters. lol (Just kidding) I'm originally from Niagara Falls I know what your weather is like. No wonder they call you "PURPLE "Corvette Jim. :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

When do you plan on coming down? If you can schedule it , June 5th we are having a all Corvette drag race in Bakerfield. You will be going right thru there. Let me know. By the way, Andy of A&A is one of our race sponsons and a hell of a nice guy!

i'm scheduled at a+a corvettes for May 10 for installs and tuning. the nearest lsi tuner w/dyno and corvette experience is 650 miles east over the rockie mountains and way too much snow. i have had 2 bad experiences in my area w/installs for my headers, magnaflows.one charged me 1200 for header install and had the car for 3 days ,then my brakes went because the lines were up against the header pipes.another charged me 900 to install the magnaflow w/ xpipes cat back. the gm dealer quoted me 1800 just to install my yank converter,plus they have never done one on a c5. so its off to sunny california for a mini holiday

Glad to see there will soon be one more faster vette on the streets :cool:. . You can never have too many of those. If your gonna have someone else do your work.... you are going to the right place.

Hey 02blueelectron,
I just finished installing gears and TC in my A4, I'd be happy to help you out here in Calgary since I'm a little closer to you. There is also a local tuner who can do the edit (Davenport) for the gear change and torque management.

sik-c5,my mods are-blackwing filter ,tbb, zo6 rims + tires,slp headers ,hiflo cats,magnaflow x pipe catback,predator.car weighs 3215lbs w/1/3 tank gas
hightest ,i appreciate the offer but i can't get the car through all that snow and i can't wait any longer. the track here in Mission is only 12 blocks away and i hear them racing every weekend now.i'm hoping for 12.4s after these mods w/just bolt ons .on a stock a4 and w/100 shot maybe low 11's.
does anyone know where i can get a 5 point roll bar w/removable driver bar? :D :D

B.C. I agree the winters are very long here in Michigan.....but the summers are very reasonaable, to bad they last only 3 months......lol....I thought that B.C. was cold.....and snowy, glad to hear that you have warm weather early......makes for a much better Corvette season !!!!!

George, I put new Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires on mine, got rid of the Runflats........maybe I'll run some better times this year........sometime in May we'll have to go back to Ubly.......
