Hello All. I picked up my first vette about three weeks ago. 2004 triple black vert. It is an A4 with a 2.73. The first thing I ran out and did was install a Corsa Indy system with an X-pipe. I also have a Halltech Stinger coming this week. I have spent the remainder of my time going from thread to thread trying to decide what is next. Below is a list of the mods that I think I am going to do but I would like some advice on the order that would make the most sense to get the most dramatic difference. Also, If there is anything alse I should add please feel free to point that out. This is going to reamain a daily driver with a few track days and Autocross.
By the way....This Forum is Awesome!!!!
- Corsa Indy and X-pipe DONE
- Halltech Stinger DONE
- Headers
- 3.42 rear end
- Torque Converter
- CAM
- New Rotors and Pads
- Suspension
 on the vette. Have a tranny cooler installed when you do the gear and torque converter upgrade. Also consider getting a hardened output shaft at the same time if you have plans for big HP upgrade down the road. For an A4 I would do the gear/TC/tranny cooler before I would do headers (and I did) as this will give a much more dramatic improvement. Look at replacing your runflats for better ride/handling.

Thanks for the suggestions. Another question....Can the 2.73 be rebuilt as a 3.42 or do I need to get a new diff? Who has the best prices on these? Thanks.
The number 1 mod for a4 is torque convertor.made a lot of difference on my car that has the 2.73 gear.I might add while you are at the rear end change the gears, if you really want more acceleration.
