LS1 intake manifold vs. LS6
Thinking about my next mod and considering going from the LS1 intake manifold to the LS6 (also changing out the throttle body while I'm at it). Is it worth the cost?

Re: LS1 intake manifold vs. LS6 (Horseshoe Dozer)
For what it's worth, I was told, by a well-known tuner, that a switch to either the LS6, or FAST, intake manifold won't do much of anything on a basically stock, stock cubed motor. Now if you're planning on some serious modding down the line...

Currently have Corsa Indy exhaust with x-pipe, Vortex Ram air induction system, WCC power duct, and Granitelli MAF.

Re: LS1 intake manifold vs. LS6 (Horseshoe Dozer)
I checked your profile and you have a 2003 C5. You already have an LS6 intake manifold on your car. You don't need to do this mod. Save up for a set of good LT headers. That will get you a good 20-25rwhp or more. :)

If you are driving a 2003, you already have the LS6 intake.

Re: LS1 intake manifold vs. LS6 (NEPTUNEBILL)
Neptune............It came as a package deal with the Vortex Cold air induction system and it is the granny that is tuned for cold air (not the standard one). Seems to work much better than the stock maf for this setup.
