ET Streets
I'm looking at getting a set of ET Streets for the track and want to know if they would fit ok on a set of 17x8.5" rims?
Thanks

Re: ET Streets (Watch22)
Just spoke with a tech rep @ MT yesterday with the same question. I'm looking @ their new P275/40R17 (P/N 3743R) for the same size rims. MT recommended size is 9 - 11" wide but he said 8.5" would work OKAY.
I think I'm going to try this.
Has anyone really tried this?

Yes I have seen posts with people usiing the 17" ET Street and if I can recall, none were negative. Did you try the search feature?

A freind of mine has been running those on his FRC, he loves them. They work well on some factory front wheels.

Re: ET Streets (Eric Hawkins)
Just used them today on 98 17" front wheels, no problems, they do fit, and don't bow out really bad or anything. Once I get get some 17" front zo6 wheels (little wider) I'll use them on those, but only for cosmetics to match what already on front of the car.

Re: ET Streets (Watch22)
I have the 17in ET streets
They don't look right on 11 in wheels
I had the on 11 in ZR1 WHEELS
I now have them on the 9 in ZR1 wheel and they look good.
Haven't been to the track yet

Re: ET Streets (blktie8)
11 is too wide, I think 8.5-9.5 rims are best for these.

Re: ET Streets (SvenOdin)
Are you going to be using radials up front mitch? Just don't make any sudden changes on the steering wheel.
