Just wondering why do we need to bleed the clutch system when it's a sealed system. I've heard people bleed their clutch when it's operating incorrectly. I'm asking because I will be upgrading all my set up to 04 Z06 specs and wondering should I get the remote bleeder set up from LAPD. It will be bench bleed before install.
The only times you should need to bleed your clutch is after replacing the fluid, after beating on the clutch setup enough to boil the fluid, or replacing the master and (or) slave cyl. :yesnod:

I would get the remote bleeder now. Why not? The fluid will become dirty and break down over time. Even if you change the fluid every other year, it's nice to know that you have clean healthy fluid in the slave cylinder. Do you love your Vette ;)
It's not a particularly expensive part, but not an easy install unless you have the clutch apart, like you will. This is the time to do it. This was my exact thinking a week or two ago when upgrading my clutch to the new Z06 parts.
