C5 Power Antenna
My power antenna is on the blink. It always goes up but I have to push it to get it started to get it to go down.
Any suggestions on how to remove and replace?
Can I buy parts or am I better off just buying the whole thing?

Mine is a 98 and is out of warranty. I don't mind replacing the whole thing; in fact that was my initial plan. I was looking for remove and replace instructions on the forum and learned of a mast replacement that would fix the type of problem that I have.....but it was for a C4. Probably the same fix. But I still don't know how to start the process. I looked underneith the car and was able to see two small bolts, but I doubt that's all I have to remove to remove the module.
Again, any help on the remove and replace instructions will be greatly appreciated!

Similar problem with my 00 vert. there is a TSB that covers mine not sure about 98s. but the fix was easy and cheap. Replaced black bezel around mast cost about $7.00. Seems the rubber O ring in the bezel was too tight or expanded and put too much drag on the mast.
