Default Interior Blower motor is inoperative

Title says it all. I've got the electronic HVAC controls on my 2000 Coupe, and all the displays look correct, including the fan speed indicator which displays all the way to full speed, but no air through the vents. Checked the blower motor fuse and it looks fine. Any advice on things to check? I had this happen once before about 2 years ago, right before leaving on a business trip, but when I returned it had magically fixed itself and had been fine since.

Any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set?

I've actually never used that before, but just did a search on how to pull those up. What a great tool. I'll try that and see what comes up. Thanks for the help and the troubleshooting lesson.

Well, checked the DTC codes this morning. Came up with "No Codes". So how difficult is it to get to the blower to see if I am getting any current.

.... So how difficult is it to get to the blower to see if I am getting any current.
To access the connector for the blower motor remove the Instrument Panel (I/P) lower insulator panel on the Right Hand side.

1. Use a flat blade tool to carefully pry the I/P courtesy lamp assembly from the RH lower closeout panel.

2.Remove the RH lower closeout panel push-in retainers from the I/P lower support beam.

3. Lower the closeout panel slightly, and finesse the left side of the closeout panel from above the driveline tunnel.

4. Insert the I/P courtesy lamp assembly up through the opening in the closeout panel.

5. Continue to lower the closeout panel, then pull to remove from the dash panel studs.

6. Remove the closeout panel.

--Reverse to install.

The Service Manual has several diagnostic aids that use a scan tool to isolate blower motor problems.

Thanks Mapman. Guess it is probably time to invest in a service manual.
