LS1 fasteners
Here's a tough one for you. Can anyone tell me where I could get a list of the fastener spec's used to assemble the LS1? I am putting an LS1 in my custom 62. The engine will be painted to match the body but I want the fasteners chromed (the heads of the bolts) while the engine is being prep'd. The engine will be at the machine shop for several weeks and then off to the painters. I want to buy new ones, get them chromed, and replace them when the engine is back from the paint shop. I know that these engines are made in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Other than contacting them, I give up. Any suggestions?

You can get yourself a parts CD and look them up one by one. It might take a while, but the exploded views are pretty detailed, and the part descriptions almost always include the bolt sizes (M11x2.0x100.0 is listed under one of the cylinder head bolts).
Search eBay for "corvette parts cd" to get one, or I can probably be bribed into sending you a copy of my '97-'01 version.
