Help-Busted Windshield Washer Switch
I accidentally bumped into the pushbutton on the steering column stalk and
knocked the button out.The wipers & washer came on & could not be switched off.I pulled the fuse,but now I have no wipers.Does anyone know how to defeat the washer action & still have the wipers?I have a feeling the local Chev dealer is not going to have a replacement switch on the shelf.

Unplugging the washer pump is not the answer since the wipers still run in
the intermittent mode with the fuse back in.
I can see inside the end of the stalk.The question is can I short something in there to fool it into thinking everything is OK?

Thanks,Bob.Just got back from dealers with new switch & new pump;both
warranty items.Turns out it was 2nd C5 in there with same problem.Now going to stock part.

I had the same problem in my 02 vert. The washer button just popped out while the car was in the garage. 2 tiny springs hold the contacts in place. Dealer replaced stalk under warranty.
