I'm looking to buy a Vararam air induction system this week. Going to be installing a H/C package very shortly. Question is which Vararam System should I get?? There are 3. So...do I get a tourquemaster, hp or hp+ ? Whats the real difference between them? :chevy
Be prepared for lots of responses on this question! You might also do a search for additional info.
I like the VR-1B which is going in soon. Brings in cold air from the outside of the car. Check in the C5 General and C5 Parts for Sale and look for RG's Exit 28 threads. He sells them at a very good price.
Thanks for your input. There are 3 models to choose from and I'm wondering if the differences between them are major or minor. Having a H/C package installed soon so I'm wondering from the head and cam guys out there which unit they are installing?
Those are all optional filters. A H/C has nothing to do with the filter you choose. If you race, you may want to use the hp+ which is the least restrictive filter. When you drive on the street, you may want the torquemaster or the K&N filter which they sell as well. Rich at Exit is a good one to talk to. But get a couple of filters for different applications. Best,
