Tire sensor question
I purchased a set of OEM Z06 wheels which I had mounted with BFG Drag Radials. They obviously did not come with sensors and I never thought of having my sensors installed when I had the tires mounted. DOH!
Anyway, ever since they were mounted I get a message on my DIC to service tire pressure monitoring system. I have always assumed it was because I did not have the sensors on. However, I was at the track last week and after I dropped the pressure down to 14 psi I then received a message on my DIC that said low tire pressure and gave the psi as 14 on each of the rear tires. Without the sensors on, how in the world did it know that? :confused:
