Spec clutch part 2
OK I have my car at Lattoff Chevrolet in Arlington Hts. Franco their vette specialist is replacing the spec stage II clucth I just had installed with a new one (1st one had super bad vibe over 3000rpm).
He does not seem overly impressed with spec clutches. He said he has had several with the vibration problem and even had one come completely apart. If this one vibrates screw it...out it comes and I look at the GP deal going on the other clutch with the aluminum flywheel.
I'll update this weekend after I drive the car a day or two. :confused:

Picked the car up today and it seems to be fine. My vendor said STAR told him they had a "bad batch" of clutches go through. Anyway I'm happy so far so we will see how the clutch holds up.

Not only will they not pay for the new install......they refused to credit my vendor back. My vendor bought me a new clutch to stand behind what they sell and STAR only offered to "rebuild" the bad one for them but no refund.
