From my search some member say you don't even need to completely remove the caliper, only one pin, swing the caliper down replace the pad, regreese that one pin and your done is this right?

I've got my first wheel off and am confused about where to put the sticky pad and the greese. I'd sure appreciate a quick copy of these instructions too.
Re: Changing Brake Pads... Confused member here... (Jharms)
depending on where you are located i can give ya a hand. Im in the northwest burbs of chicago.. IMO its easier to just remove both pins. Id think it'd be easier to compress the pistons in the calipers. ive had my pads/calipers off a few times now but never had to put new pads on just rotors (cross drilled)
Re: Changing Brake Pads... Confused member here... (Lancer033)
e-mailed instructions for chaning pads and rotors to jamie_harms@sbcglobal.net; jsevin@rpc.net; mitzelj@voyager.net
after you do it once, it's easy
Got it thanks. One question tho, do you need to replace the caliper bolt(s) when doing this or is it only the pivot bolt that must be replaced when you actually remove the caliper?? Thanx, Jeff

Can I get a copy also? I just ordered new ceramic pads from Fred Beans. I've never done a brake pad change so the instructions will probably save me some time.
Thanks
