What are the proper installation instructions for installing a CAGS on a 2003 Z06?
The part that I purchased has instructions for a 1997-2001 model.
I went to install the bypass and I could not see the wire loom or plug that connects to the transmission.
HELP!!!!!!!
Thanks, Greg
On the drivers side of the tranny, almost exactly where the exhaust goes over the axle, there is a plug in the side of the tranny. It's up there pretty far, but easy to get to.

Found it!
I am a new Corvette owner and I was looking under the car in the area where "conventional" car transmissions are located. I didn’t realize that the Trans was that far back. Once I found it, it took about 3 minutes to install the CAGS elimination plug.
Thanks for the help.
Greg
It's clear you are not yet ready for a Z, so let me know when I can come take it off your hands and leave you a LeSabre in exchange...
Seriously... there is nothing wrong with the little aftermarket "thingee"/resistor pack. You don't have to deal with an "edit."
As for how to get to it, simply drive the rear up on a couple 2x10's or 12's, whatever as long as you get it up a few inches and it is SAFELY supported AND blocked! The C-5 is relatively easy to get to the underside from the rear if you aren't "portly." I'm thin and had no problemo.
LS1-Edit is a software package that allows you to interface with the PCM. I had CAGS removed via a few small changes to my PCM ( while they were at it they adjusted my fan temps ). You should be able to find a tuner with LS1-Edit that is willing to remove CAGS, adjust your shift points (if you have an A4), adjust fan temps, etc for $100-$150.
