Matt, I am interested in the B2 to replace my Blackwing to see if I can pick up just a couple more ponies and cut a few tenths off of my heads/cam car time. Sure would like to see some pictures of the B2 first though, particulaly the filter media. Do they now offer a version of the filter with a synthetic filter media like the Blackwing does, or is is still just the same as the old Vararam with the K&N cotton media or the foam race filter?

The VR-B2 ram air system is the latest unit for the standard C5 and Z06 Corvette.
- revised standard air filter design
- quick release T-handle latches
- reshaped ram tubes for added velocity
- multi-piece airbox gasket assembly for positive seal
- reshaped top airbox for added velocity
- easier installation
- adjustable/pivoting front mounts, again for ease of installation
- reshaped water troughs for added velocity and performance

We keep being told,"any day now"! Have sold quite a few of the VR-B2's to forum members. Have any of you guys done your own install and how did it go for you?

Hope the new system is easier to install than the VR-1B. Took me four hours with a garage lift. What a PITA!! 
I do like the results though.

Ok guys! We just got a new shipment of Vararams and then we will be on a backlog list for 2-3 weeks. We have yet to determine how much longer the units will be on sale but it probably wont be much longer because demand is exceeding the available supply. Gives us a call 281-866-7000

I got mine but havent installed it yet... Day at the track didnt go quite as planned to Im going to make one more run stock to get my baseline numbers still. As for the differences... Hell if I know, never seen the B-1. But the directions are the same apparently as for the B-1 (it says B-1 on the directions)... I will take pics when I do it and post if nobody beats me to it. BTW I ordered mine on Thurs afternoon, and it arrived noon on Tues the exact time Matt said it would. So thanks to the guys at Speed Demon

The shipping is actual cost! If your shipping ground the cost is quite reasonable. As soon as you get airborne the package is shipped as 28lbs instead of the actual 8lbs due to size.
