Need help with electrochromatic mirror retrofit
Anyone do this lately. I have a mirror from an '02 that I installed in my '99. Install is easy using instructions another member provided. Problem is that all of the lights work as they should, but can't get the green active light to come on. There are four wires, a grd, 2 orange and 1 brn. The brn wire never seems to be hot and this is likely the problem. Anyone know where this is fed from?

You have e-mail. Diagram I am looking at for a 2001 shows a brown wire as "back light for Switches" under Inside Rearview Mirror Switch Backlight section. I installed one in my 99 following the instructions from c5forum and it all worked ok.
