alternator amperage on 97

alternator amperage on 97
anyone able to tell me the amperage range of this part number 10246634 alternator on a stock 97 6spd coupe. Is it rebuildable first, second if it is can the amperage range be increased in the rebuild, if not, what other GM alternator will work and if you can give me the part number.

Tom do a search on this subject. There was a thread on this not long ago. Otherwise check with Pd000 (I think that is his forum name) He has an aftermarket higher capacity Alt. on his car.
I think the stock 97 altenator was like 90 or 100 amps and the newer ones are like 110.
