Bassani or Corsa Crossover Pipe
I plan to have the Corsa Indy Pace Car Exhaust install on my new 04' C5 and I trying to decide which crossover pipe to use Bassani or Corsa.........Recommendations??

The X-pipe will turn the volume of sound down and stop all the popping on decelaeration a must for the Corsa System. Don't expect any more HP as a result. You do an X-pipe to adjust sound.
Both Magnaflow and Corsa will work equally well.

I have the Corsa. Great product. I was amazed how much it mellowed the sound and reduced the popping. IMO, you need one of these with any aftermarket, louder than OEM system.
The only thing I didn't like about the Corsa were the flanges where the mufflers bolt to the X. Corsa doesn't thread the thick metal flange like GM does, so you have to run a nut and bolt at the joint instead of just a bolt like OEM. Just one more thing to loosen and fail. (and they included an SAE nut and bolt for an all metric car, WTF?) I'm not sure how the Bassani is built.
