27 views and no responses. does this mean no one knows how to do this or did I not phrase the question properly? I'm wondering how to install a kill switch so that either the fuel or the electric power is cut off so that theft is impossible. Unless of course the the thief finds the switch or has a flatbed. I have no idea how to wire such a switch but in doing a search I see that others have done it. just no instructions how.
What transmission do you have? There are different ways to do it for each. On the A4, there is a wire coming from the brake (yellow, I think) that runs to the trans, that can be tapped for a switch. Do a search?

I have a 6 speed 2002 Z06. While I am a pretty fair mechanic, the last thing I want to do is go experimenting with the wiring and fry the ECM or something like that.
