As I posted the other day my LGM headers were not sealing on the passenger side. So off they came again two new copper gaskets and they sealed perfectly. Modified the front 02 sensors for length put them on insted of the rear 02 sensors and the car runs great. When I removed the rear 02 sensor from the drivers side of the header it was black the passenger side was lite brown. The car is still throwing the 02 codes because the sims suck. Now for the editing and I'll be happy to get rid of the check engine light. Don't waste your money on sims. I left the stock Z-06 mufflers in the rear and they sound great, Car is very quiet when cruising quieter than stock.
You probably know this already, but I'll throw it out there...
The 2004 C5/Z06 requires a slightly different install re: 02 sensors than previous model years when installing the LG LT headers.
You will need to keep the front 02 sensors in the front position rather than moving the rear 02 sensors to the front IAW their instructions. I used LS1Edit to "remove" the rear 02s since the current 02 Sims will not plug into our harness without modifications.
My '04 C5 has the LG LT headers and work great once I realized this difference associated with our specific model year.
