I installed the T1 shocks. I was already launching very hard (in my opinion) and 1.65 60's with stock shocks. However, in video you can really see my car 'bounce'. The T1's are very stiff, and the car simply squats and takes off. More proof in the video. My 60's are now a consistent 1.55.
I don't have a good host for the vid's, but I will email you a link if you are interested in seeing the difference.
Do you have F45? I do, and it is kind of a pain unless you know someone with a Tech II that knows how to turn it off.
For what its worth, I have the stock 02 Z06 shocks on my car and lowered the fronts with the stock bolts and put lowering bolts in the back. On a prepped track I always pull low 1.4 60fts and on a non prepped track I pull high 1.4s to low 1.5s with ET streets.
The 10.86 run was at the South Carolina Shootout. I really noticed there particularly when comparing my launches to say J-Rod's.
I am not for sure of the price comparison of these shocks vs. Z06 shocks. I think you could get the same type of results with the Z06 shocks. Also, I think without a Z06 (or at least a Z06 tranny) 1.4's are pretty difficult.
What are T1 shocks and would they be an improvement over stock shocks. I have the Z51 shocks
GM has a racing suspension setup that includes sway bars, end links, shocks, etc. I only have the shocks. The part numbers I have are:
Front: 12480094
Rear: 12480095
They list for $157 (each) at sdpc2000.com. Like I mentioned earlier, the Z06 shocks may be almost as good. However, I think they are probably half as much as the T1 shocks.
I'd look at the Chassisworks shock (think of it as an HIGHLY improved HAL). They have a shock that you can adjust both rebound and compression. So, you can dial a 90/10 rear and a 50/50 front, or whatever you want.

J-Rod where you been hiding? I just couldn't turn down the deal I got on my T1's. Now if I can just get the same deal on a new Z06 tranny. :p:
I talked to Mr Walker, and he sounded like you had almost talked him into a new cam.
