can i reuse headgaskets???

i have about 800miles since the last heads swap. will they be any good or should i change um. cant wait to get the afr's on

change them unless then are a spring metal head gasket like a cometic

As a rule any gasket that is compressed is a one time use, although in a pinch I have re-used some gaskets, I would never re-use head gaskets, too much chance for additional complications.

i kinda figured id have to change them, but last time i changed the heads a few months back the gaskets looked like new but i changed them anyway. i already have a new set waiting to go

I don't think reusing a gasket would be worth the risk!

NO............unless they are copper and you heat them almost rehot and quench them in water..........I'd just get new ones......

oh, you can re-use them,,as many times as you want.....if you want leaks....for the price of gaskets,,,please buy new,, some of the race gaskets can be re-used, but I am not sure, GET new.........
