How to make a manual fan switch?
I know there are fan controllers but I only need a manual fan switch for when I goto the track. I have only taken the Z06 to the track 2 times so it isn't worth getting the computer reprogrammed or buying a controller. The temp stays low enough for the street 190, but at the track it gets up to 230 before the fans come on.
So how do you wire up/make a manual fan switch? I don't want to tear up my factory wires so if needed I will buy an adapter, if possible.

If it is only for the track why not simply get the plugs for the two fans and wire them to a +12 and ground and when you go to the track unplug the fans from the controlled circuit and plug into the new circuit. Seems easier than a switch and having to locate it.
