Oil Pressure Range for 6-Speed

Need Advice on Oil Pressure Range for LS1 6-Speed
Can anyone tell me what the oil pressure range should read on the DIC for a C5 (2000) six-speed. I see that on the DIC it may range from high 30's to low 50's in correlation with the RPMs. Is this normal or should it be more constant. Thanks. New C5 owner, so hope this isn't an old issue that's been answered a hundred times before.

I have a Y2K, MN6, I used to worry about the oil pressure gauge because it used to bounce around from 30 to 60 PSI. And as a matter of fact , it still does. As long as it doesnt read 0 or 80, im happy. I did have it re-ringed this year with 12500 miles because of excess oil usage. I oil pressure gauge acted the same before and after the re-ring
