There are a few shops out there that do this professionally. I'd go to one of those before I would attempt it. My first choice would be to trade the car off though. That's just me. Good Luck!!
If I remember correctly the frame is different from the coupe to the vert. Didn't they have to strengthen the frame on the vert to maintain performance rigidity?

Trade it in.

Hi.
Here is what I have learned so far.
The quarters are unique and must be purchased. The deck is same as the FR. The tonneau is unique. There is a special substructure to the tonneau and deck that must be installed. The existing piece must be removed off the tub. Now this is where I need help; What must be done to the door strike pillar?
There are also many little parts to get. Is there a sequence to installing everyting? Does anyone have a parts list?

Thanks

Thanks

The best solution would be to drive the thing to your nearest Chevy dealership and trade it in a new C6 Vert.

I had the part #'s for the quarters and the frame for the top and trunk lid but I lost it. THe actual frame and tub is the same for all body styles. You have to basically put a top on the tub so the trunk lid has something to mount to. The quarters are different. If you look right behind your "roll bar the front of the quarter is about 8 inches wide, the vert is about 4 inches wide. The frames and structures are the same.
