Does anyone have the Russell Speed Bleeder part number for C5's? Summit does not list a part number they give years 85 - 98... Does not seem correct to me... I need them for a 2000..
Thanks for the helpful link. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I've used a MityVac in the past that produced less than ideal results. Sounds like the Motive bleeder make bleeding brakes a one man, "no brainer" operation. I purchased the same model that you did. The adapter that it comes with will work on all the cars I own, according to Motive.
Once again, thanks for the tip! I'll post my results using the product as soon as it gets here.

Why do you feel the MityVac "produced less than ideal results"??????
Seems like the easiest one man operation.
The only thing I can figure as to a perceived bad outcome is if you open the bleeder valve much more than about a quarter of a turn. The pump really puts a suction on the system and can actually such air in around the threads. I understand that this does no harm, but looks like air bubbles as you bleed.
You can also use the pump to remove fluid from the reservoir instead of using a 'turkey baster'.
I've had no troubles with it and you virtually don't spill any brake fluid. You can also keep track of exactly how much fluid you remove by observing the measurements on the fluid cup.
Its not a bad deal for $30 and keeps you from having to yell at your girlfriend to pump the brakes properly.
Could actually save a marriage or relationship, this little pump!

Another nice touch is a GM bleeder adapter, available from Kent Moore as part number J-35589. It is pricey at about $40, but is more convenient than the adapters provided by Motive. Or you could easily fabricate one from a stock reservoir cover.

Does the Motive product have a diaphram between the air supply and the brake fluid? The GM service manual recommends using the J-35589 because it keeps the air separate and prevents contaminants from entering the hydraulic system.

Motive now has the correct adapter for the Corvette, I ordered one on Friday should be here tomorrow.
Part number is 1108 for the adapter or 0108 for the bleeder with the proper adapter.
