So I've had my single in for about...200 miles now. Lots of stop n go.
Today on the way to work, my pedal suddenly got softer. It was like a switch was hit. I pumped the clutch and it didn't get any harder (like if I had a leak or something). Clutch engages just like it did before, even at high rpm (I tested it to see if it was a hydraulic problem).
Is this normal? Before, the stiffness was pretty high - about 9/10th that of my old Cartek (which is the stiffest clutch I've ever had). Now it's like a 4/10 (if 1/10 was stock).
My twin *SEEMS* to have softened just a bit, but I am not entirely sure it isn't me just getting used to it. At about 1000 miles total now, half of that regular driving. If it did soften, it did it gradually, not like yours. I would definately check the fluid just in case.
I don't know if it's me getting used to my hyper single or it's actually loosening up after 3,000 miles. But I'm having the same thing happen. And it is better in stop and go traffic.
