Installed a ZO6 front anti-sway bar on my 04 Z51 vert, what a difference.
It flattened out the ride with out adding harshness, best $81 spent so far.
I live on top of a mountain, shortest route to the bottom is 1 1/4 miles with 12 turns, Vette driver's paradise.
Price is right, all he needed to replace was front bar and 2 bushings since he had the '04 Z51 to start with. Try any of the supporting GM parts folks on the Forum.
I have an 01 Mag red coupe with Z51 so I assume my rear sway bar is the same as a ZO6 rear sway bar. At just $81 this will probably be my next upgrade! Thanks for sharing!
I wouldn't get T1 bars unless stickier tires are installed up front. The T1 bars will introduce understeer, and stickier tires up front are needed to counter the effect. Many of the guys racing with T1 bars run the same width tires up front as they do in the back.
I just installed the Z06 sway bars on my '99 coupe and it sits like ghetto cruisernow, way up high. Why would this happen? They don't support the static weight of the car, do they? I drove around the block and cornered hard to set the springs but it still sits too high. What gives?
Did you tighten the clamps down real tight, even torqued to spec? If you did, it's really too tight. The sway bar should be able to swing freely if the endlinks are detached. What you may do to get proper torque and function is to place a washer between the clamp and the suspension cradle/carriage. Even then, the shocks can take a while to settle.
I did the full z06 suspension swap on my 2002 a4 vert w/fe1 suspension and I say the zo6 suspension(fe4) is what should be on all vettes. It handles so well and is not harsh at all. Also it is easy to do. I would say this is one of the most overlooked and best bang for the buck upgrades!

I did the same for my 02 vert..Z51 springs, Z06 sway bars, Bilstein Sport shocks, chromie Z06 wheels and Michelin Plot Sports. Lowered about 1 inch with Z06 alignment specs. Comfortable and handles like it is on rails :flag

Are you talking about torquing the bushing clamp bolts or end link nuts? Best,
The torque for the brackets is still to tight for any sway bars from base to T1. To get the right spec and proper fit, put a washer in there as a spacer. Just remember that with the endlinks detached, the swaybar should swing FREELY. If it doesn't, thing it's just more friction in the suspension, and friction is the enemy of good handling.
