OBD tests -- will old codes (found) flunk my emissions test??
Had some earlier problems with 02 sensors which produced engine check codes. Haven't had any lately but will the OBD (state of Maryland) test pick up anything and fail me? Need to know what to expect!!!! :flag

I've had the same problem. Was advised by the dealer that after 3 days of no codes you should be able to pass the emissions test. Did you clear all codes? The PCM and BCM store code related data for a specific period of time but I do not know for how long.

If your check engine light is out, you should be OK.
Do not reset the PCM just before going in, or you will get too many emisions system "not ready" indications. A couple of days (two complete hot/cold cycles) are required for all of the test to execute after a reset.
